Amazon has the Syntax LT32HVM 32" LCD TV for a decent deal. Comes with a year warranty and received a rating of 4.5/5 from 2 customers.

Pricegrabber Price : $1097 ~ $1399 Shipped

2. Rebate Price : -$300.00
Final Price : $599.99 + Ship($99)

Here are some more reviews from CNET for those of you like me that need to read more about a product before buying ;)

Looks like a pretty good deal...

Price can only drop more, they have to put hdtv tuners in large sets by 2006....

I read the HVE is a little better but the cheaper I can get that is 900 from target.

Anyone know how fast is this rebate?

Price check for Syntax Olevia LT32HVM

I think you can get this for *almost* the same price (after rebate) from CompUSA.
Final cost from Amazon is $698 after rebate and shipping. Not sure if you pay TAX with Amazon.
Final cost from CompUSA is $699 plus TAX after rebate (no shipping.)

There are two 32" Olevia models and I am not 100% positive that the one for sale at CompUSA is the exact same model.
But, if you want to go check it out (see it) you can go to your local CompUSA.

Strange new link to Amazon

I ordered one of these this AM, and suddenly the link in the My Account order on Amazon goes to a Target model of same TV, with free shipping but no mention of rebate.

Has anyone else noticed this? Even the Spoofee link now goes to a Target item on Amazon, with no rebate

Pricing error?

DGJ is correct. The price has been changed on the Amazon website and it now qualifies for free shipping with no rebate. Price is $888.

This deal may fall under the "too good to be true" category.

My previous post on the price from CompUSA was incorrect.
CompUSA's price is $1299 minus the $300 for a final total of $999.

Here is a link to the rebate:
$300 Rebate

I hate it when that happens!

My guess is that the rebate will NOT WORK now with the new listing on Amazon, because it shows TARGET as the seller, and not Amazon. You can't use Amazon coupons or rebates on Target purchases. What's up with Amazon, anyway!

DEAL CLOSED - Amazon out of stock

I just spoke to Amazon customer service, and the product in question is now out of stock. They switched to the same LCD TV sold by Target, but without a rebate.

Deal's done . . . too bad, was a great deal
