Okay, last minute Xmas decision for a possible Xbox system. :willy_nilly:I am so totally not familiar with this so I need to ask for some help, advice, suggestions and hopefully a great deal.......

So please, talk XBOX to me....Thanks...:kissing:

Now if you would have asked people to talk DIRTY to you instead of XBOX I am sure you would have lots of replies already.

But staying on topic, what is it you need to know? If I were to get one I would buy the 360 with the 250gb hard drive. The extra hard drive space over the 4g version they claim allows more games to copy data to the hard drive resulting in faster loads and smoother game play. I would say if you are purchasing this for a hard core gamer, get the 250g version. If you are buying this for a younger child get the 4g version and save yourself $100, they will probably never notice the difference.

This is just my opinion.

Thanks Choo.....

Since they (2 of them) are teens, I think the 250gb would be better. Now, even though these are out of stock right now, how do they compare? Price wise and with options?

I know they mentioned playing with their friends on their Xbox at the same time....what's the details on that? :noidea:

Once I know what I should be getting, it'll be easier to shop it around...if there are any left.

Thanks again....

I would just get the 250g without the Kinect. The Kinect add-on if you want to purchase later is $100. It is something new that they just came out with and is only used with certain games. It uses your body movement instead of a controller to play. I don't think it would be very easy to replace/upgrade the hard drive later.

What happened to the days where we as kids played with pots and pans???????????????

I didn't realize it was only certain games....thanks for the heads up on that. The 250 is probably better. Thank you..

I would normally agree but have you seen the prices of good cookware lately? :yikes:

Thanks BabsChoo! I bit the bullet and ordered a 250gb holiday bundle from PC Richards for 299 + 10 shipping. I think I was lucky to get that as I was searching all last night and all this morning and there really weren't any to be had around, much less one with a discount. I even used my wiialerts.com.....nada!

..and Choo, just because you helped me so much, I have set up a special connection for someone to talk dirty to you!
Talk dirty to Choo!:kissing:

Walmart

I just picked up a 250GB model from Walmart for $299.99 + $17 tax, however it came with a $75 gift card for Walmart, which I then sold to my mom.
