Costco has DVR-R's or DVD+R's for buy one get one free from 7/26 thru 8/1.
25 pack is $24.99 plus tax. TDK DVD media is pretty good quality. Great price.... :claps:

Interesting, yeah I saw that today. Some guy was grabbing two packs but I didn't know why, didn't glance at the price as they're normally not cheap. Should've picked some of these up, didn't think they were on sale!

Thanks!

TDK owns. These DVD-R's classified as professional grade quality.

Do you have to pay a membership fee in order to shop at Costco?

Yes, it's $45 a year, and if you have one that's local to you, it's well worth it.

Thanks, but I don't like the idea of paying to shop at a store. Thanks for the info.

stupid question but what's the difference between + and -? for regular movie DVD burning, do i need +?

There are two different DVD formats +r (plus r) and -r (minus r). The two formats have been competing for a while. To determine what type of media you need you need to know what you DVD burner will accept. A lot of the new burners will accept ether +r or -r.

Really no difference. Most newer DVD players will play both formats, you may want to double check your model and make sure. My sister has a newer DVD player that says it will work with DVD+R's but it does not, it will play DVD-R's perfectly though. I have found that the DVD-R's are general more acceptable and able to be played in most DVD players, good for letting others borrow your DVD's to watch. :)
