The Hunger Games eBook for $0.83

Can't get address information to register correctly - Kobo keeps changing the state to 'Alabama'.
 
Got all three (less the movie edition) for $3.06. I had to check out three times!

If you have PayPal, then just let it use Alabama and then sign into PayPal. They'll get it right.
 
I got it but now I'm trying to see if I can use it on my wife's kindle...

I hope this helps:

:sun: Get the books into Adobe Digital Editions ("ADE")
  1. Download and install Adobe Digital Editions on your computer
  2. Download the Adobe DRM EPUB version of the book from Kobo Books
  3. They'll open in ADE
:sun: Go ahead and close ADE. Now you'll need to remove the digital rights management ("DRM") from the files.
  1. Download and install ePUBee DRM Removal by typing Kindle in the Book Device text box on the left and clicking the Download button
  2. Open ePUBee and it will automatically locate the books you downloaded
  3. Click the unDRM directory button; when it is finished it will open the location of the books that no longer have DRM; you can close ePUBee now
:sun: Now we need to convert the files to MOBI format for the Kindle.
  1. Download and install calibre; while it asks for a Kindle e-mail address, I didn't use one and simply ignored the error message
  2. Open calibre and add your books to the main window by dragging them into it
  3. Click the Convert books button and let the conversion begin; it should be fairly quick
  4. When the conversion is finished, select your book(s) and then click the down arrow next to the Save to disk button and then click the Save only MOBI format to disk menu item; select the save folder and click the Select Folder button (I chose the desktop for convenience)
  5. After saving, the folder will open with your book(s) in MOBI format
:sun: Finally, you'll need to get the file to your Kindle. Amazon has several ways to do that and you can view them here.
 
Code worked for first two (not movie tie in... didn't try that one) - but would not work for book 3 :(
 
Well... apparantly if you press the 'apply' button enough it will annoy the system & finally accept it. I got Mockingjay for $1.07 after about 6 times trying :) whoohoo!!! thanks for the deal! I am already on ch. 5 of book one... love it so far!
 
There's also a code for the 2nd and 3rd book of this trilogy series. To summarize:

Catching Fire (The Second Book of the Hunger Games) - code 'hungergamesdeal2'

Mockingjay (The Final Book of The Hunger Games) - code 'hungergamesdeal3'

The code only works for the first book and nothing else. Attempting to use it on any of the other books will result in the following message: 'Invalid promo code. Please verify and re-enter.' Attempting to use hungergamesdeal2 and 3 on book 2 and 3 respectively results in the following message: 'This promotion is not active.' Anyone have any luck with other codes?
 
ditto, at least i learned about Calibre and DRM's and converting... (even though 40% of what you wrote didn't apply, figuring it out thought me somethign new, worth $0.83 to me ! =) thanks spaz
 
I was able to use the 'hungergamesdeal' code for all 3 books (minus the tie in edition). You just need to wait like 20-30 minutes between ordering them. I ordered all from the same account.

I was one of the District 11 extras so I was rioting. Scene goes by very fast. It was cool that it was all filmed near me though.
 
Was able to get two of the three with separate checkouts
