The Office - Season One DVD for $13.99

Just curious...

Anyone watch this show?

Before it began, I loved the promos and I thought it was going to be so funny. I admit, I didn't see the first show, but I caught the second one. I didn't really appreciate it or think it was funny. Did it get any better?
 
I watch it when House isn't on. Imo, it's a horrible show. It's like they stole the premise from Office Space, but the show just isn't funny.
 
The first season was ok, but this season (I guess the second season) is SOOOOOOOOO much better than the first...

I would recomend watching it now. If you like movies like Anchorman, and 40yr old Virgin, then you would like this show...
 
Very Funny

This show is very very funny. But, to be funny, I think you have to be familiar with office "rules" and stereotypes for the office. I can see who this show would not be funny whatsoever.

What made it funny to me was I had just had an extensive course dealing with management styles and stereotypes. It showed everything this course talked about. :bigok: :claps:
 
It is, in my opinion, one of the funniest shows in years, and I don't even work in the "office" environment. :D
 
i thought the first season was alot better than the 2nd. but i love the show. overall it is more hit and miss than the UK version i think
 
Shoot. I didn't even realize this was the second season. I LOVE this show. Of course, it's my office. Literally. I sit with "Angela" on the other side of my wall. And her name is even Angela -- I'm not joking.
 
I was pretty leery of The Office after seeing what US writers did to Coupling - the UK version has got to be one of my favorite tv shows ever and the US version (all 3 episodes was it?) were physically painful to watch. I've caught and episode here and there and found The Office amusing, so I may pick this up.
