The official "What do you give your mail carrier as a tip" thread ;)

Sorry BD, I couldn't resist jumping on the "Official" bandwagon!

I usually make cookies for my usual mail lady, but I am beginning to think I should switch it up.
What do you do for your mail carrier?

* using this thread to help give me ideas :o *

How about:
Gift Certificates in small amounts maybe to Block Buster to rent a movie, Mc Donald's gift booklet
Buy an inexpensive thermos and fill it with hot chocolate, tea, coffee
A healthy snack of trail mix, or chex mix
A stocking filled with some freebies

I let them keep their job by delivering me all my freebies and bargains. :worry:

Here is what Emily Post says: U.S. government regulations permit carriers to accept gifts worth up to $20 per occasion, not cash

We usually do gc's too.

This is the website - it has guidelines for all the people in your life from Au Pair to Yard/Garden Worker

I think I just might do the gift card too~~Just to show my appreciation for all of those "FREEBIES" she has to carry to the front door~~:)
