The rebates page

I always wondered about the rebates section. The rebates on that page always looked old to me, so I ignored it...until tonight. I finally clicked on the "If you prefer the old layout, click here" link just for kicks, and was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The info there is current, and there are so many deals there!

Question #1: Why not make that the page you see when you click on the rebates tab?

Question #2: Is there a way to sort the results by price, brand, or any other feature?

Just wondering.

Sometimes old is better...
I think the "old" rebates page " is infinitely more up to date & informative than the rebates page we currently see when you hit the "rebates" tab.

Doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to revert back to that "old" page as the page we'd see when clicking on the "rebates" tab. Just a matter of changing <a href="http://www.spoofee.com/index.php?section=rebates"> to <a href="http://spoofee.rebateplace.com/">

I can easily make the rebateplace.com link the Rebates page. It's probably better to do that for now since the information has not been updated.

I was thinking of getting rid of the Rebates section all together once we get the "deal search" setup. Users can just search for the deal which will list all the required rebates.

Really? I think it's kinda nice to be able to look up products by manufacturer, then find the current low price & available rebate form(s) but maybe that's just me. Anyway, I think that until that new feature is up and running, it would be nice to see that "old layout" for the rebates page. I think the rebates page change (be it temporary or permanent) will help avoid making the site look, um, out of date.

Spoofee.com keeps looking better & better, Spoofee - you've made some really, really nice changes to make this site look in tip-top condition!

just wondering, any thoughts on changing that rebates page back to the old rebates page?

also, i have to admit, i almost NEVER click on the "about us" tab, and wondered if i was the only one. maybe it might be more helpful if we had a tab on top for "hot deals" ?
