Name calling, i.e. "The Teabag Party", is certainly not the way to bring others to one's point of view. Unreasonableness exists in both major parties. We need to vote for people and ideas, not some generic party ideology.

While I can understand the embarassment among party fans, the fact remains that the origins are inextricably linked to that silly "teabag" protest from January 2009. Followers of the sect even used the term in describing themselves.

Your admonishing would carry more weight had you not encouraged, through your participation in, the recent posts making light of the Holocaust.
