stuff coming out of places I didnt know stuff came out of and the smells....omg the smells (when I can smell)....and the colors....what kind of crayons was I eating ???I think I passed out in the shower once...I came to and all 3 kitties were peeking over the side looking at me....I thought they were concerned but it was really time for their breakfast...lil bastards:mmph: and ohhhh my back hurts so bad from coughing....but by golly I am not leaving spooffee...I will stay here till every one of you are sick or wearing those ugly masks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now line up and give us a kiss!! :kissing:
 
hope you start feeling better really really really soon!!! :hugs: Is the medicine working? Can you tell? Are you going back to the doctor for a followup? :sad:

I go back next friday...he has me on an antibiotic and some cough syrup stuff that taste awful but at least I can lay down and sleep for 4 hours when I take it.......its actually bronchitis (he said) but feels like the flu to me upper chest hurts really bad when I try to lay down and sleep but this cough stuff is really helping...and I have the chills really bad....I luv my pink flooby though!!!It'll get better, I have freebies to find and silly cats to feed....

I always hear voices and no hives as of yet (ugh)not sure what I am peeeing....afraid to look...
 
Antibiotics won't do anything for a flu, which is a virus, antibiotics target bacteria only. It just gives your body more work to do over a fight it doesn't have to do. Should have got some Tamiflu, that is antiviral. Get a new doc.

That stuff sucks.. use to get it several times a year.. Vic's Vapor rub does help also sleeping with 2 pillows to raise your head & chest.. you won't cough as much.. last time I had it I started using a vaporizer [little cheap one from Walgreens] in the bedroom.. it helped some but not as much as the Vic's
Hope you get past it quickly... but plan on about 2 weeks : (
 
I agree with iokijo on this one,, the vaporizer with vicks works for my daughter and grandson!! Hope you get better soon,, So much of this is going around, Be safe people use the wipes the stores provide for wiping down the carts,Take a couple of them to wipe anything you think might not safe to touch!! I always wipe down the shopping carts, I get some strange looks, but oh well!!
 
Thanks guys...I have a cozy little nest in my recliner, can't sleep in bed, took out the trash a little while ago and thought I was gonna pass out...it's horrible feeling helpless, everytime I wake up I have to check and see what day it is....have a doctors appt friday and I think I will have to start getting ready on wednesday....lol...I hate being sick like this :(

on the upside I havent had a cigg in 3 days, or has it been a week? I been wanting to quit so this may be the kickstart I needed...but not something I would recommend for anyone...
 
Be careful if you go tot the docs, you wouldn't want to give it to other people so wear a mask.

go for it! If you quit smoking, I'll bet you'll have an easier time fighting off lung infections...and may not even develop as many. Flooby is cheering for her butternut squash!
