Things Remembered $10 off coupon for $10+ (YMMV)

I took this to the store today got a travel alarm clock on sale for $9.99 and I got it for free. No tax or anything.
FYI: You do not have to spend $10.00 or more to use this, it is good for ANY purchase.

Thats what I said (Well not that word) but I wanted a nice poem or something on a picture frame, and after she said $3 a word, I said forget it, I'll just take the picture frame and make a sticker of the poem to stick on there. lol!!!
 
i got the locket too but how in the world do you put pics in there the lockets are so tinny
 
Well I went to get the alarm clock, the lady at the store said she cannot use the coupon since its 9.99 and not 10... meaaan.. so I had to buy something else to make that work.. Thanks for the post..

Went to the store to use my coupon today and grabbed a 7.99 product and the lady * Who followed me around the store while looking at items* told me that I needed to buy something over 10 dls to use the coupon. Ugh! Made me so mad I just walked out of the store. DON'T VISIT THE ONE AT THE WESTSIDE PAVILLION MALL IN CALI
 
The coupon clearly states at the bottom and I quote :"This $10.00 coupon cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded for cash if the purchase is NOT $10.00, cannot be combinded w/ any other offer, applied to previously purchased gifts, or personalization on gifts purchase elsewhere. Coupon has a one-time use only an dmust be surrendered at time of purchase. One coupon per person. Offer Expires Sept 30, 2009."
So the way I interpret it this coupon CAN be used on an item less then $10.00! I'd go back and show that to them and ask for the manager if necessary or call the home office if it came to this! And i'd also point out that a friend of yours used it online for an item less then $10.00 so they're full of bunk!

Same thing happened to me today as well :( Went to Valley Fair Mall in SJ, CA.
