Thinking about buying a laptop.

I was thinking of purchasing the HP 8110 laptop.
Does anyone know anything bad about this brand and or model?
We have researched it quite a bit, but wanted to make sure before we bought it.
After all, it is a big ticket item.

HP makes relatively good laptops. I'm not familiar with that specific model, but anything that i've messed with by HP in the last few years has been nice.

Dell is doing great. They have a Dual Core out now for under $800.

What would you choose?

Same spec, but different:
Inspiron 6000 w/ Pentium M Processor 740 (1.73GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)
E1505 w/ Core Solo processor T1300 (1.66GHz/2MB Cache/667MHz FSB)

Price-wise, E1505 is $30 higher...

O.K. I went and did it. I purchased an HP 8110 at American TV yesterday.
Final price was $999 after $80 Hp rebate and another $200 rebate from American. The screen is 17". Perfect for kids playing DVD's on roadtrips.
Hope this helps anyone else looking into it.

Sorry, forgot to add that I also got a free 4 in 1 printer.
I thought it was a pretty good deal.
They say they will match the price for 30 days up to 110%
if I find it cheaper somewhere else.
