Yesterday I bought a CD-RW 52X24X52 for $15.
And yet upon inspection of the "Top 5 Deals" page, I find that the #2 Best Deal is "Sony 24x 10x 40x Internal CD-RW for $70 Shipped After Rebate ".
I understand, it is impossible to re-assess the top deals daily, and the expiration date is posted so the reader can get a sense as to when the deal was, but I think it still looks rather inadequate. Given the industry, it makes me wonder if such a page makes sense?
Or how bout this? Put in a xx% discount comparing Spoofee price to MSRP next to each item so that readers can understand that even though it isn't a good deal now, at the time it was a 95% discount, or whatever.
No?
