Thought I'd share this information with you guys.

Based on the warranty works done to my 2003 Matrix, I speculated extended warranty would not be a bad idea at all. So, I shopped around. And the best price I found is at:

Toyota of Greenfield
Attn: Troy Dietrich
12 Olive Street
Greenfield, MA 01301
(413) 772-0231
[email protected]

Very nice guy, prompt service, and attentive to details, to my surprise. I paid $740 for 7yr/100k $0 deductible Platinum coverage (List price $1100).

This is the Toyota warranty, not the third-party, and will be honored by Toyota dealers.

You can purchase if your vehicle is less than three years old and has less than 36,000 total miles.

usually wouldnt do it especially on a toyota but thats about a hundred bucks a year. great deal is it bumper to bumper with the engine and drivetrain?

i wanted one for my 04 f150 since i drive it about 25K a year and i dont trust the 4 wheel drive components but it seems like hardly any of the problem areas are covered under the standard plans plus is is expensive for 3 more years.
