Toys R Us in-store is offering an unbeatable deal for Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii.

They are releasing it on Tuesday (11/13/07) by 5pm.

Also, everywhere I look it says the game is being released 11/12. If I can get it the 6th with $25 card I would be thrilled!

I pre-ordered mine 3 days ago (saw this last week on the forums).
For those still doubting, the guy in the store confirmed the 25$ gift card with purchase.
 
Got my preorder in a few weeks ago when this leaked. Maybe I'll pick up a
2nd copy so I can have some extra $$ and sell the 2nd copy. Or give it to a friend as an early Christmas gift. =)

Make sure you buy one and then use the gift card you get with the first one towards th 49.99 for the second one.
 
I called in yesterday about this and the sales rep told me there's a limited supply on the GC and no rainchecks
 
A buy one, get one free deal on games is an awesome deal. Especially if the games are for PS3, 360 or Wii. I'm in search for some Wii games at a good price. Our kids are getting the system for Christmas and I'd like to have some games for it (not counting the games we currently have for GameCube). Finding any Wii game for under $20 is difficult. I'm surely watching the ads or online deals for whatever I can find.
 
Well, the likelihood of finding a kb toys store staying open is slim. Make sure you check out the store locator to see if your nearby store is closing, as if it's closing they will not honor black friday ads.

On the flip side, the week of November 18 it's been leaked that Toys "R" Us will have a buy 2, get 1 free deal on Wii games. So most everyone is saving up their gift card to go back and get some of the new games coming out then. Notably Mario and Sonic at the Olympics!
 
Oooo... thank you! I just might buy the Mario game if I can get it after work and save the gift card for the b2g1 deal.

Even a good online deal would be awesome. I picked up "Happy Feet" for $11.88 thru the link here awhile ago - got a 1gb SD card for $9 in same purchase and with shipping was something like $24. Compared to retail, I thought it was an excellent deal.
 
I just called our local Toys-R-Us and the sales person said they only received enough for the pre-sales, they did not get any extra to sell for the $25 gift card offer :frusty:

Also, you get a Mario coin for the game also, which I didn't know. Gotta play through Zack & Wiki first, then SMG time!

Are we sure they will have the buy 2 get 1 free at toys r us the week of the 18th? Because their are 3 games I'm really looking to get, umbrella chronicles, MOH Heroes 2 and Rayman 2!. I could ask for them for xmas but I rather not :) and have them now!
 
Cool! I was able to pick up my copy today and got the $25 GC as well..
 
called 3 stores in the Chicago area and all are sold out! Missed it!
 
Good Luck to everyone trying to get one but you may want to call ahead. I went there and was told they only have pre-orders.
 
Kinda bummed, my local Toys R Us told me they didn't get any in but will get them in on Sunday (which is conveniently after the promotion is over).

Oh well, I guess I'll be getting it for $35 during black friday.
