Transformers 2-Disc Special Edition HD-DVD for $4.99 Shipped

inetvideo.com has had this for $1 for the past few months. It's $2.99 right now, probably because of the release/popularity of Transformers2, but it'll probably be there again soon.
 
I use Buy.com frequently and don't have any problems. Moreover, it has nothing to do with whether this DVD is a good value or not.

It's one of the benefits of owning the defunked HD-DVD format -- lots of titles selling for less than standard DVD.

I own this particular DVD and paid $9.99 when it first was released. It's one of the most dynamic sounding DVDs out there (especially the opening desert scene.) Unfortunately, the audio is only in Dolby Surround 5.1 and not TrueHD or even DTS.

Whether one pays $2.99 or waits to save another dollar, is up to the buyer. Just seeing Megan Fox is well worth the price.

Note: this will only play on a HD-DVD player -- not a BluRay nor standard player.
