Trendnet TEW-623PI PCI Wireless Network Adapter for $19.99 Shipped

I have one of these in my living room media PC. It's so frigging sensitive. I've used at least a dozen different 802.11 devices in and around my home, so I'm familiar with the regular SSIDs in the neighborhood, but with this card I can pick up three times more access points. Makes a very fast and rock-solid connection, too. At this price, I'm going to pick up a few of them to replace the wireless cards in all my boxes.
 
i'm in for 4 of them. not a bad price and a very good adapter
