Looking for a 27 inch tv , looked at the philips outlye store , found the magnasound for 169 shipped . was wondering if there was anything else

I'd go w/ the 1st one. According to the specs it appears to have more inputs that the 2nd one and it's also about 10 lbs lighter.

Thanks Kage , btw hows your tv doing.

Pretty good... I bought my 32" Magavox from a friend about 4 years ago. It works great, knock on wood. :)

Just be careful with the Philips outlet. I ordered first the $275 32" flat TV, and then the $359 30" HDTV, and Philips did their part but the carrier (Eagle Global Logistics) could not deliver the TV correctly without completely breaking both sets (first had a slight fade to the dark side on the right side, second had tie-dye spots). They're great deals, but the TVs just can't make it through the delivery. Philips offered to give me my money back for both and pick them up (quite a lot of money for them) but they were stubborn in giving me a new TV because they had gone out of stock since.

On the other hand, Costco does sell that Philips 27" Faux Flat for $180 brand new, so you may want to look into getting a brand new one for $12 more. Also, I do recall that they carry a Sharp 27" flat set for $230, also a good deal. I wouldn't really recommend the Philips outlet because these two are such good deals, it doesn't make sense.

dont know if you already got your tv but i had bad luck with the tv shipping too. i even went to target to get a philips and it wasnt too great so i returned it and got a toshiba flat screen. the sharp 27" at costco is a good deal and the tv is pretty good too i was going to get it but i wanted to stick with soemthing under 24 inch.

hmmmmmd damn i already ordered it and its on its way
i wonder if i can cancell the shipping , maybe just not accept it, i would much rather have tje costco one , do they charge a restocking fee?
