The specs say CL-3 ...My current system has CL2.5.
Assuming this will slow down my system ...so this is not good for my system?

Actually, just go into your mobo bios and set the latency to whatever you want it to! I actually use generic ram like this all the time and just bump up the latency, as long as you don't make the timings too tight, you won't have a problem.
