Unclaimed Property Search

Ksocia, I changed your post above. I added a different link so that people from every state can search, not just the one you had listed. I hope that is ok with you. ;)

I've had unclaimed property before. It was a $15 check from a previous employer about 3 or 4 years prior.

wow, someone with my same name in my city has a matured life insurance policy that's unclaimed..... interesting....

Great find! Thank you!! :claps:

I found five accounts for my mother-in-law and one account for my father.

They all may be worth $10, but its worth the price of the stamp and having them get the claim forms notarized. Plus maybe they'll give me a finder's fee if its the $10 million they forgot they had. :D

You can find your state property website with any search engine.

Just search for: Unclaimed Property State of (state)

Only in America that this is done! To spend money to create a system to give money back to whom it belongs. What a great country!
Where I came from, people who has access to any unclaimed money will take it for their own...

WOW! We found something for us. Can't wait to see how much it is...Thanks for the post!

Government website. Put in your name and state to see if they are holding money that is owed to you. I have found $$$ in my name. And received it! What a great time to find money that is owed to you! To claim they will give you a claim form to print out and all you have to do is mail.
