Is it true that underwire bras are bad for you? I heard that it may lead to breast cancer. Is it true??
 
Just my quick two cents. I suspect underwire bras cause breast cancer as much as wrist watches cause skin cancer: which means that I don't believe either cause cancer. And I don't suspect that underwire bras are killers any more than regular bras.

Anything that restricts circulation of blood or lymphatic fluids is going to cause toxins to build up in that part of the body. If that is a factor in causing cancer, then there is a connection. But even if it's not a cancer factor, the toxic buildup isn't good.
 
I agree w/ Dan! It's also very bad when the wire pokes through the material or snaps in half then pokes through the material and jabs your skin. OUCH!!!
 
I dont do underwires - totally hate them!!!!!!!!!!

my SIL has never worn an underwire and is now battling breast cancer.

statistically speaking, more people die in hospitals than any other place. so it's fair to conclude that hospitals cause death.

I've heard if you wear a push up bra....it limits eye contact.:hmmmm2:
