Amazing remote. I have the MX700 (which is one step above). The 700 cost me $150 and it sells for about $300. For $70, the MX500 is a steal. Damn, you could buy it on Amazon and sell them for a profit on EBay.

Huh? Not much profit on ebay for these.

Better to get a SONY RM-AV3100 Integrated Remote Commander, these things are awesome, you can get them on ebay for about the same price.

Yeah I just looked at the EBay price. About the same.

But I disagree on the Sony. The Home Theater Master remotes are the best IMO. But it doesn't really matter.

Could you help me a bit. I don't know what the screen is for on this type remote. Also - I bought a universal remote (not the cheapest) at Best Buy a couple months ago. It worked fine with my TV and stereo but was not compatable with my VCR - an off brand - a Tevion. Could you by chance tell me if this one would be compatable with the VCR. Thanks!
