I just don't like these frivolous lawsuits.The economy is bad enough right now without us taking money from an American company.I try and think of the folks who work there .If this company loses money then they have to make cutbacks.
 
The unawarded money goes to charities.
 
Regardless of how wealthy the company is these kinds of settlements do take from the company and the "wealthy" ones are the ones on the top who have sucked our economy dry since they don't want to take cuts. So it IS the people on the bottom who take the cuts - bottom line is the frosted wheats didn't hurt us in way so I have no right to take part in this - that just breaks down to a moral issue.
 
Have you ever looked over the cereal choices on the shelves and picked Frosted Mini Wheats because they are supposed to be good for your kids minds? yeah, right...

Oh brother! There is no limit to what people will sue for, it's sad really. :hmmmm:

I totally agree with you,I would feel really bad if someone lost their job because of this stupid lawsuit...
 
they have a set amount they are giving away regardless. Its not if you file a claim you are going to make the company go broke or make anyone lose a job over it. Insurance covers this. If there is any settlement money left after said date then they will donate the remainder to charities.

We actually eat mini-wheats along with many other kellogg's products.

It does not matter if their insurance covers it and the suit is not about whether you bought it or not, it is about whether you were persuaded to buy it based on one unproven claim they made. I doubt 99% of the people who are going to file a claim were swayed in any way by the claim as I am also sure a great portion probably do not have children and many probably didn't even buy during the period of time quoted in the suit. People just see it as "free" money from a big corporation and could not care less about ethical standards.
 
Doesn't matter if you actually bought the product or not. These lawsuits, except those that actually do affect your health/something, are all bs. OP probably should not post anymore.

theyve been wealthy for yrs and theres no tellin how many cockroach legs are ground up in those mini wheats

So do we. and I totally agree w/ you. Hubby is a Frosted Mini Wheats aholic! :) LOL! In fact we have 3 boxes in the cupboards as we speak now. Strawberry , regular and blueberry muffin flavored! in that time frame we actually bought AT LEAST 20-30 boxes of this stuff!
