Amazon.com has the Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 3-user for a good price. You actually make money after rebate.

Update: The price is now $65.00 making it free after rebate. The item must be purchased through Amazon, not a third party to qualify for the rebate. Click on the "when you buy from Amazon.com" in the rebate section of the web page to purchase from Amazon.

Price went back to $65 when bought from Amazon...this
is a common ploy by them.....when they see an item
selling very well they raise the price......what an original
idea....supply and demand pricing.

The rebate is only available when purchased from Amazon directly, not valid when purchased from third party sellers. Is it available from Amazon directly?
 
I do need anti-virus since my McAfee expired a day or two ago.
 
IN stock, BUT...

...It says it is shipped and sold by J &R Computer World, NOT AMAZON. The rebate specifically states that only amazon-purchased items are qualified for the rebate. Any thoughts? I'd really like to buy this, but not for the retail price.

UPDATE: Rebate indicates that it is, indeed, NOT valid when purchased from third party sellers, so unless amazon restocks this item, do not buy it or you will be paying full retail price with no allowable rebate. (update added 12.23pm EST on 12.31.07)

If you want to purchase this w/rebate, you have to purchase through Amazon. The price listed as $49.99 is through J&R Music & Computer World. If you look to your right, you see "More Buying Choices". Amazon.com is listed for $65.00 which will still make it free after rebate.
