After you send in the pricematch request form, Officemax will email you a link with the new price of the drive. After a 115% pricematch, the price would be about $153.

use the $30 off $150 coupon.

After you have click "Start Shopping" it will add the $30 coupon in you cart.

Paste the link that OfficeMax sent you over the Internet Explorer window that you had the coupon on.

Send in $40 rebate.

If all this works out, Final price should be $153 - $30 coupon - $40 rebate = $83 Shipped

i filled out the pricematch form at officemax, but i'm not getting any response... :evil: maybe they're waiting until outpost raises their prices?! i dunno... has anyone else had any luck with this?

I don't think you will be able to use the $30 off coupon with the price match. This is the email response I got from my price match request. Note "*****If a coupon is used on the order it will be taken off the price of the item and a new pricematch will be given. "

Ok, here is how it works...

Go to Staples with the Outpost Ad and the OfficeMax email.

Tell them Officemax will match it and give the glimpse of the email. Then show them the Outpost ad.

They will match it with their 110% Best price, and then use one of the printable instore ads for $30 extra off.

So it looks like this though...

$229 - 110% price guarantee (54.99) = $174.01 - $30 (Ad) = $144 - $30 (Rebate, Can't find a $40 one like mentioned) = $114 (Ending price)

Not as good as the $83, but for a DVD-RW+ it is a good deal...
