VERY strange name for a child

The bigger question is why Talula Does The Hula wants to be called K. This too is not a "normal" name. Perhaps she is already in need of counseling.

Wouldn't you be in need of counseling with a name like that?

They wouldn't allow "Yeah Detroit" but they allowed "Number 16 Bus Shelter"? WTF???

Maybe she is thinking K as in Kay but is only 9 and a little confused. Poor girl. What an awful name to give a child.

Of course it does. Unless, if in her case, she goes to someone named "Mike Who Knows Psych", in which case the whole issue flares up again.

:rofl::bigok:LOL:claps:

That is freegin hilarious sunbeam!

There was an old song called "A Boy Named Sue"

and I dont believe in counseling

and on second thought - if everyone is named something like that, what difference it will make. Soon they will have a Judge named "Pay me for favorable judgment" or something.

I think Telula is a really pretty name. It's a shame about what follows it though...

I had a friend in High School whose name was Selya Flora Price. (You may need to say it a couple times to get it.)

I read an article a few years back about strange names.....
one family named thier kids "1," "2," and "3" That is how it was printed on their certificates and not spelled out "one" "two" or "three"

Then there was a gentleman by the last name of Lear who named his daughter "Crystal Chanda"

How about the Fook family that named their kid, Won Dum?

:p

*disclaimer, I never actually met him so it may not be true. :hmmmm2: But I've met many like him.;)

Years ago I heard some true names... Hedda Hare, Wayne Dwop. Makes you wonder why some people are PSYCHO!!!

Probably. Maybe she was subliminally communicating with the guy who wanted to name his kid "Keenan Got Lucy" and thinks that lucky doesn't have a "k" in it.

1) I think Tulula is a pretty name too, why'd they have to ruin it?
2) I love Johnny Cash's song-....."my name is Sue. How do you do?"
3) Why is it always counseling? Why can't somebody just say, "What the F is wrong w/you? You're crazy. Stop being so wierd!"...that's how I'd councle them!

and 4) I had a friend who named her son "Justin Angel"..cute when he was little but I wonder how he liked it in high school.

A lot people give them a name from modern cars. Lexus or Lexi is common, Hummer not so common.

What about people who give themselves names like precocious, cybermom & tigger_too_wooh :claps:

A few years ago I heard a woman say she named her child Mercedes....because she always wanted one and knew she'd never be able to afford one.

Mercedes are a crap-shoot. My husband had one which he bought just before we got engaged (he knew better than to wait). It turned out to be a lemon and thus a waste of money (it was too far out to qualify under the lemon law though). Now he's driving a Toyota...which is what I would have recommended to him in the first place! As far as naming a kid that..hmmm...but aren't kids more expensive than cars? She could have just bought the Mercedes.
