I suggest Linux - I persoanlly use the Novell SuSE flavor and have for a couple of years. The only thing I can't do is see some of the video site (youtube works fine). If you have 3D video support you can even get the eye-candy that Vista has and even more.

I haven't used it yet, but will soon when my trial from Microsoft arrives. It sure looks nice, but the hardware requirements are somewhat hefty to get all of the eye candy and functionality.

The only reason I am going to switch, eventually, is because I'll need it to support my Windows clientèle in my business.

Don't do it without running the compatibility test. Its free at microsoft.com

Youll probably have to get a new printer & scanner.
