Ponds Dry Skin Cream Free after Coupon

Ponds Dry Skin Cream is on sale this week at Walgreens - 2 for $3.99. There's a coupon on the bottom of page 9 in their February Easy Saver Catalog that's good for $2 off each jar (no limit).

2/$3.99 - $2 each with coupon = $0 AC

So basically, as long as you buy them in pairs, they'll be Free (plus the price of sales tax)

The coupon on page 7 for Ponds actually says that it excludes cold cream and thats the one on sale .... Regardless my local walgreens doesnt have the item in stock......I dont think the coupon would hae worked either. Did anyone try it ?

i tried it, and it worked for me.

the coupon doesn't exclude the dry skin cream, just the cold cream.

not sure, but i think one of the problems is that the coupon is for $2 off, and the dry skin creams are $1.99 each. however, i did buy something else, so i still had a positive before-tax balance.

i've read around that this isn't working for some people anymore, so it's possible this is ymmv now.

Now a tip for you..... The nexcare cream thats there for 99 cents ...... well there was a coupon for a $1 a little while ago ...... take advantage of that along with walgreens offer and its free ........... Price $3.99 , $3 walgreen coupon and $1 manufacturing coupon ...... so $0. Free after coupons ...... :tongue:
