TCL uses Samsung and RCA screen (some consider these rebranded). My parents got one of these for Christmas last year, the picture is GREAT, but the sound is sub-par...works great with a surround sounds system. They had an issue with theirs early on (HDMI board had to be replaced by the manufacturer, not all the HDMI connections worked, though some did)...warranty took care of everything for free...including pick up and redelivery. Running perfect since...and I've wanted to pick one up because it's such an amazingly clear picture.
