Curious minds, such as myself, would like to know what book you are currently reading, going to start to read or just finished reading. Watcha is PA slingo for what are you just incase anyone was wondering. Any input on how you like the book or tidbits about it are recommended :)

I received 2 books for X-mas

1. A Million Little Pieces
2. The Purpose Driven Life

Tomorrow, I think that I will start reading #1.

I started reading a million little pieces abouth 3 months ago, but got so busy i didnt have time. The power went out saturday night for 8 hours so I started reading again. That and the controversy that has hit the book made me intrested again...It has very very very foul language. fyi.

I would like to read that book. I heard it is very good and I don't really care if he embellished it a little bit. He probably didn't know how famous the book was gonna get when he wrote it.
I am reading "You The Owner's Manuel" by Dr. Oz and Dr. Roizen. Dr. Oz is the doctor that is on Oprah all the time. It is taking me a long time to read because it goes into great detail about every area of the body. I usually read fiction.

Just started "Cold Sassy Tree" this weekend.

MirrorMirror from the guy that wrote Wicked

Like a Mighty Wind by Mel Tari.
So far, it's been a roller-coaster ride. Powerful stuff! (Amazon link)

Thanks, that looks like a great book. I'm going to add it to my 'must read books'.

Just read Angela's Ashes-wanting to read the sequel "Tis" now. Have read a few of the Eleanor Roosevelt Mystery Series by Elliott Roosevelt.

I love to read!! I especially like self-help books and philosophy. I have read too many to list........I just finished reading "And the Truth Shall Set You Free" by David Icke....very controversial.

I dislike reading... makes me sleepy :zip:

Gee, I thought I was the only one! :o

It's not that I don't like it, it's just I can't sit for that long without dozing, ZZZZZZZZZ

In Cold blood - Capote
Alice in Wonderland- Carrol
Yakuza: Japan's Criminal World - Caplan

It takes me forever to get through a book. I usually read right before I go to sleep so I can only get a few chapters in, or a few pages. but I keep accumulating more everytime i go to the book store.

I am also trying to get some classics in because I should know them.

1984
slaughterhouse 5
fountain head
catch 22
anna karenina

again.. taking me forever..

I am an avid stephen king fan. so, I am reading his new one. CELL.
Good so far.

just finished Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. That book was quite hilarious, at least I thought it was. A very Monty Python-esque type of humor. The next series I want to read is either Aragon, or The Work and the Glory.

I am reading Night by Elie Wiesel(Oprah's book of the month), it's about the Holocost, exceelent book, I highly recommend it ;)

Do you mean Eragon? I read the first book in the series. It was tedious, but I enjoyed the plot line. It kind of ended abruptly. I started reading the second book, Eldest, and didn't make it more than 50 pages before I decided it wasn't worth it. I think I'll wait for the movie... ;)

I just finished reading Safely Home. It's a book about the persecuted Christians in China. It's a very thought-provoking read.

Next on my nightstand is Manhunt by Janet Evonovich. I love her books. She makes me laugh out loud!

Right now it's Cell by Stephen King, very weird stuff....

i recently read Prey by Criton.. awesome book
