remote controller does not work

I bought this machine 2 months ago. When it works, it is great product. But 9 out 10 times I press the buttons on the remote controller and it has no responses. There are not any button on the machine. U can figure it out.
 
Bought this about 6 months ago and absolutely love it. WD just issued firmware upgrade and made it even better . Too many uses to mention . Buy from sams Club and if you don't like it you can return it to " ANY " club in the US with no restocking fees. It will cost you about 10 to 15 dollars more but well worth the convenience.
 
I have had this unit for about 7 months. Has worked perfectly in that time span.
