Western Digital TV Media Player + 120GB External Hard Drive for $59.98 Shipped

This media player seems to only support s-video out so I decided not to get it and would not recommend it to anyone because of it's lack of support for HDMI.

You can get better media players that support HDMI and have a built in 2.5 inch bay for the same price on Amazon. i.e. Micca Slim Portable Digital Media Player with HDMI and 2.5-Inch HDD Bay - Plays MPEG1/2/4, DivX, Xvid, RMVB, AVI, MOV, MP3, MP4 by Micca

And a good one and accurate one it is too. I have bought too many of these types of media players trying to find one that will play the files I want and the quality I have grown used to. If you are hooking this up to an old tv and you have a bunch of old movies/videos/etc in standard definition, than this may be a great deal for you. If you have a newer tv and/or want it for future videos/movies/etc, hold out for something with a little more power and options -- I personally am waiting for the boxee device in November.
 
Just use a dvd player with a USB port on it, they are pretty common. Plug in your HD & you're ready.
