Gov, Do you do a lot of traveling?
Both my mom and my husband had their keychains confiscated when they went through security at the airport. My mom had a small nail file/pocket knife on her keychain. My husband had a fancy swiss army knife with tools, complete with monogram. Neither could bring it on because they were considered weapons. It was already too late to pack it in their checked baggage, because you check that before you go through security, so they had to "forfeit" them.
Just something to think about....
As for me, I have a small leather photo book on my keychain with pictures of my daughter in it.
