Well... here's a true story about a young girl who dated a wonderful man for 4 years. Little did he know that the last month of the third year, July, was a deadline of sorts for the guy to propose to her. If he didn't, the relationship was going to be over. It wasn't that she didn't love him, but you can only stay on a plateau for so long.
She dressed up for every date that month- and there was some fun ones! Night Boat Cruise on Lake Michigan, Ferry Ride at Navy Pier, a day at Arlington Park- and not once did he take any of these romantic opportunities to propose. So, she sighed and agreed to go out with him one last time on July 27, 1995. Dressed up in her umbros and a t-shirt and going to see a second run movie at the cheap theater and trying to decide if she should dump him that night or give him the extra three days in July.
THIS is the night he decides to propose to me- I mean her...
Now... this story has a (mostly) happy ending. Yours may or may not...
If you're not ready for the ring... you may want to talk to her to see where she's at...
