 So what's a good age to get married? (Not necessarily what age you got married. )

You can say why below......

*you can choose more than one range....*

???

Thinking about making a change?

Curious that I just heard the dehawk is available

Nah, Dan got married while in second grade and it got me thinking......

:eek:You mean he's completed his sentence? :yikes:

This is a hard question. Depends on maturity, career/family goals, etc. I picked 25-29, only because that is when I felt ready to marry. It gave me time to settle into a career and have fun in single life. I know people though who want big families and were ready to marry in their early 20s and start having kids. Hard to say the right age.

I was 23 when I got married so I'll voter for that but I think it depends on "the love factor" which is timeless and whether you mutually can keep an oath (ie. "till death do us part"). Could be any age or never (take my x-daughter-in-law as an example).

I hate to disprove Preco's math, but I was 23 when I got married.
In retrospect, had I waited another 5 years, I probably would never have married.
And had I not married, I most certainly would have been dead by now.

:yesnod:Like I said, you were in second grade..... He's from the South......

First you got married after HS.

Then you waited until you got your career first.

Not sure what it is today. Seems a lot of people I know are having kids & I don't think they plan for them. Surprise!

I have no idea what a "good age" would be! I think there are too many dependent personality factors.

I got married at 25. I wish I had waited until I was a little older. Not much, but a little. I was mature enough, had a career path, etc. I just wish I had taken a little more "selfish" time to do things I wanted to do without having to be accountable to another person.

I tell the Sophinator and Charzilla that they will meet the person they will marry while they are in graduate school, but they can't get married until 30.

I got married too young. I had my final, final in undergrad on Thursday, that Friday morning I had a job interview in Brooklyn, Friday evening was the rehearsal dinner and I got married on that Saturday and left for my honeymoon on Sunday. How did I ever do all that?

I tried and tried and tried the married thing...being single is much better...not that marriage didnt have its perks but I just enjoy coming and going as i please...no dramas that can't be solved with a simple "leave me, manbeast" comment...I could go on and on but single life is definately the best (for me)...oh yeah...and the snoring...that is suuuuch a deal-breaker for me...if a guy even looks like hes flirting with me I ask him if he snores...if he does I have to move along...snoring is a very bad thing

HOLY COW!

Talk about a whirlwind romance!

But if you're wife is half as sweet & cute as your kids, I betcha picked out a good one!

I think the 25 -29 age range. I think this is when you are much more stable career wise and monetarily... Im not saying getting married younger wont work.. I just feel for most people, they dont have enough stability in their lives to have a successful marriage. Of course there are a lot of couples that have proven that wrong..

Maybe i'm speaking more from my own life..

...And had I not married, I most certainly would have been dead by now...

And it took your wife all this time to convince you to get out the 4' ladder to change that light bulb... I think she's trying to kill you.

Speed, uppers and greenies (using the terms of the day)

again it depends on your state of mind

Can anyone tell me how precocious was able to vote 3 times and Propelissa voted twice? Does being invisable play a factor?

When people vote more than once...that throws off the poll results and makes the poll pretty much useless.

You can only vote once, but as preco noted in her first post, you can choose multiple answers like I did. This doesn't throw the results off at all as people aren't limited to one age range.

I've got one of those sleep apnea devices now. It is impossible for me to snore now. I'm already taken though...if you couldn't tell by the way my wife uses Downy to scent my clothes as a warning for other females to stay away.
