What's on your pumpkin this year?



My two daughters are going to be Alice and the White Rabbit so I decided to carve the Cheshire Cat. I just finished... I think I need to go do some clean-up, but I thought it turned out decently...

This is my husband's (he was trying to do it while keeping the kids from bugging me while I was carving mine so he choose a simple, yet cute one):

Dawww....you done good!!! I carved three big pumpkins on Wednesday when it was cooler. They are nothing special two scary faces, one happy Jack! Still have the three ghostie boo boo pumpkins to do this morning after I finish painting. Halloween is my favorite day of the year! Gives me a chance to reeve up my broomstick, which by the way, gets 252 miles to the gallon!! LOL Happy Halloween one and all!

Me, too!! I am like a little kid at Christmas right now!! We are off to an all expense paid Halloween weekend that our friends do every year In Bar Harbor, Maine. Everyone dresses up from age 3 to 86 and we just lauuugh all weekend!!

However I do have an older model broom that only gets 178 miles to the gallon:mmph:

Oh, I love Bar Harbor...we went there on our honeymoon. I am jealous! I'm also jealous of all of you pumpkin carvers! Tigger - yours are great! Mine still has dirt on it from the pumpkin patch. I think we'll wait til this weekend to carve, so the kids can help design it! Have a great one everyone! Hey rags, my daughter is a witch today....stop on by anytime and compare notes. LOL

My friends took my husband and I out for dinner last night and we had a blast. When we got home our kids (son/16 and daughter/10) had carved a great pumpkin together for the very first time! I'll take a photo tonight and post it. It's really cute of a silly pumpkin face!
