Yes, I know this is kind of lame, but I was just curious as to what peoples tastes are.

So, whcih cereal is your absolute favorite and which one do you hate with a passion.

Love: Reeses Puffs
So delicious and peanut buttery

Hate: Grape Nuts
Rocks in a bowl, gross.

:D

I love a few...froot loops, trix, fruity pebbles, cinnamon toast crunch, Honey bunches of oats (probably the best)

I guess I hate cookie crisps. I dont know why but its ewwy

No Cookie Crisp? I like Cookie Crisp. Those are actually good to eat straight out of the box with a glass of milk.

I'd have to say my faves are cinamin toast crunch, cocoa and fruity pebbles, and lucky charms.
The ones i hate are probably raisin bran and wheaties.

i've never had grape nuts but i've wanted to try them. Is that the cereal with lots of granola??? I love granola!!!!! LOL

ahhhhh!!! you had to bring up cereal huh???? this late??? LOL Don't you know i'm pregnant and get cravings. lol I WANT MY LUCKY CHARMS!!!! lol

Okay, Grape Nuts are these tiny hard as a rock, break your teeth, things. They have to sit in the milk for like 30 minutes before they get even a little soft. I don't think they are granola.
So unless you want an expensive dentist bill, stay away.

Congrats on your pregnancy by the way!! :)

LOL thanks for the advice and thanks for the congrats too!!! :)

Hmm. I have a few that I really like. I like all forms of Cheerios, but I've tried getting berry ones at Trader Joe's and they're really good with the fruit in them. I like raspberry or other red fruit clusters, almost like Honey Bunches of Oats with fruit in them. I also like shredded wheat. Occasionally I'll go for some sweet cereals like Fruit Loops.

I once tried Grape Nuts thinking that they looked pretty good and I was completely grossed out by the taste.

does hot cereal count? cuz quaker instant oatmeal is the NASTIEST cereal EVER!!!!!

as for favorites, i'd have to go with frosted mini wheats or honey bunches of oats w/ strawberries... but that's only cuz they don't make raisin nut bran anymore (remember the commercials with the squirrel? uh... maybe not.... )

but if i need a sugar fix, then it HAS to be oreo o's or lucky charms- come on over, mommy, i'll pour you a bowl ;)

Love: Pops, Frosted Flakes, Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Hate: any of those healthy non-sugary ones. Recently bought Kashi GOLEAN Crunch! Not good.

LOL my sis and i call that stuff GOPOOP cuz it has sooo much fiber- like twice as much as any NORMAL cereal would... i think that's how you get lean from it LOL

Really scraping out those bowels.

I like kix, berry berry kix, honey nut cheerios. corn pops. mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Does anyone have just one serving? That is one half a cup I think.

I probably eat four servings in one sitting then. I fill my LARGE bowl twice. Otherwise, I just don't get no satisfaction. :)

Love: Any cereal on sale less than $2. No store brand, though...

Who eats only 1 serving each? I ate a large bowl... I don't know how good Cheerios to lower cholesterol, but I tried oatmeal for lunch and dinner for a while and my cholesterol dropped significantly.

Hahaha, so true. You can really taste the fiber in it too. It has like a gritty tree bark texture. I haven't tried that exact brand but I've tried others that are similar. My mom bought a whole bunch of CRAP from Trader Joe's because it was some of the cheapest stuff they had. Now I see that paying $1.99 for that junk compared to $2.50 for a nice bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats isn't worth it! :D

Your Mom is probably just trying to help you eat more healthy :)

Yeap. It's not scientific but my LDL was reduced from 180+ to lower range 120+, in 6 months. I had to endure it though, since it was so boring to eat it daily. But I could swallow it easier than Kashi's GoLean, which practically shut my throat after certain amount.
