White or Color Lights for Decorations?!

Spoofee members, do you use white, or color lights for decorating during the holidays? I use both outside on the trees, shrubs and railings. Inside I use the color lights. Those mini lights, but, I so love the old fashion big big bulbs! Love bubble lights too! Just had a vacation in lovely Williamsburg, and, they have to use all white lights if they are within three miles of Colonial Williamsburg! :wave:

We use both white and multi-color lights outside and it depends on the mood I am in as to what lights I use on the tree. This year I have multi-color

White lights are elegant, and more reminiscent (sp) of times long passed. Shucks, I can still remember my Grandpa lighting actual candles on a tree!BUT, the color lights are more joyful, expressive, and timely. Both give pleasure and a sense of holiday good cheer! Now, if ANYONE would like to come visit me and FINISH UP my holiday decorating, I have both kinds of lights for you to choose from! :wave:

LOL I actualy got help putting up the tree this year from DD and we had the tree all done up with the lights and the decorations and then ...........ALL but the BOTTOM row of lights went out!!!!!!!!!:mmph: I have made NO attempt at trying to figure out why it happened,the strings are the ones that if one bulb goes out the rest are SUPPOSED to stay on so ...........I don't know I think I just might leave our tree in the dark this year!!:rant:

I like colors, hubby likes white, so we improvise - both on the tree, one part of the yard is all white and neat and pretty (Boring), the other is all different colors, styles, jumbled up very cheerfully!
