Wiki Style Website?

I want to create a website where users can add and edit lyrics (it’s not yet another lyrics site, but it’s the closest to what I’m actually doing and its easier to describe). I've looked at hosting a wiki however, my knowledge of Perl, PHP, and that is pretty limited and I don't have MySQL or any of that and most wiki software requires it, but I can do most html, java and some cgi and some other stuff similar stuff as well. I tried websites that host the wiki for you; however, they don’t allow enough customization for me and they usually add ads. So my question is do any of you know of a good way to accomplish what I want, that is, have the ability to add and edit content easily while allowing a certain level of customization? I have a website template, and would like to add this feature to the existing site. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
