I literally yelled.. "OH NO~" when I saw this.

- eBay Link

Nice, clear photo. Why, I can read that code right off my screen!

I dunno which one is worst, the seller or the person who actually bid on it

And there's a reserve on it!

Shipping cost $8?????? and 12 bids

AMAZING!!

I'm going to start offering my dryer lint on ebay!

If you win the bid, then seller will mail(not email) you the key, the key could make your pirated sw legal. But if you decided to read the key and activate your pirated sw, your pirated sw is still pirated.

IMHO it is not that bad

Who needs the physical key when you have the number?

If I understand correctly, the key is unique. If someone has already used it, is it not worthless?
Are Bill Gates lawyers tracking down the bidders as we speak?

Ket is unique, but you could use it on 'n' number of machines. If you need the key only, then Google for it. You could find almost all keys all softwares.

Sw=software

you mean people are actually paying for sw these days? :faint: :noidea: :hahaha:

The repair company I used on my laptop last year refused to reload my Windows /OFfice saying that the number was a famous pirated number, and that by entering the number in Google or Microsoft (I forget which now), it would tell you whether it was "real" or not.

I had to borrow my dad's number, which fortunately went through as kosher. I was totally confused by the whole thing, I bought the laptop second hand, it never occured to me to ask if the software was legal or not...

And why didn't they tell me they couldn't reload it BEFORE they took it off and repaired it??? The repairman said it wouldn't be legal for him to put it back on, even though the machine had ARRIVED there with it.

More than one person can use a key. But if they find 100 ppl using it, alarms are going off.

Or mac os x - installation doesn't ask for key!
