Windows XP Professional Bulk License

Hello everyone.

I work for a large automobile dealer and we need to purchase a bulk license of Windows XP Professional. Where is the cheapest place to do so?

What is the best price just for a single copy?

I suppose it wouldn't be a problem, although I'd prefer new.

See, it's not me that cares, it's a large auto dealership in Philadelphia and I want everything to be as legit as possible, money isn't as important as being legit if you know what I mean.

Also, many computers over there need it so I'd prefer to get them a bulk license and do it in one shot.

I definitely know what you mean. The main reason I gave you that link was becasue you're a "computer dude" and in hopes that you knew what the various parts would be worth. Any thoughts? :o FYI I know many parts are worthless, but some things might have some value (e.g., the memory etc.).

As far as what I want for XP Pro, I'm not sure. I haven't had a chance to look it up on eBay yet, but I'd be happy to entertain a fair offer.

As mentioned, I purchased it myself about a year or so ago and I have all the original documentation and can say with confidence that it is not on another computer in the world except for the 120GB hard drive which I will format before I sell it. FYI the reason I don't need the 120GB or 40GB HD is my new 250GB HD and now external 200GB Seagate drive is more than ample for my needs.

You are needing a volume license from Microsoft. There isn't any other place you can get volume license except through microsoft or select authorized resellers.

I see what you mean Kage. It doesn't tell me prices though.
 
There's an 800 # you can call and talk to a rep. Depending on the # of Servers/WS's they can give you a price per license.

That's annoying. For the time being, I think we need it for three laptops, so I might just buy single copies.
 
Yea... depending on how many computers you need that may be best way. I had a thought... Try looking for OEM XP Pro license's. You may be able to save some that way.
