This is a white box version of the retail PVR-250MCE and only ships with an install CD for the Sage software, Hauppauge drivers and InterVideo MPEG Decoder.

This is my first post, so just let me know if I'm a complete idiot and missed some obvious loophole in this deal. I just wanted to give back to such a handy forum.

heh, no, I don't own any stores. I wish I did. At least then I'd be giving all of my money to something my wife could approve of.

I think Frey Technologies owns SageTV, and they're trying to offer a deal on the Hauppauge card as a bundle with their recorder software. Personally, I doubt I'll actually use the SageTV software, but the deal is good enough for just the card.
