could you imagine your guests? "Didnt you put up a tree this year?" 'Yes, we put it way up (point to ceiling)'

you would have to decorate the whole thing from a ladder! it would be too hard to decorate it and then hang it from the ceiling!

I say, if you need more room for presents, set the tree on a box and cover the box with the skirt! This is what we do!
