They are basically guaranteeing the life of the video card to you and a second owner if you so choose to sell it.

Any motherboard with a PCI Express slot will be able to use this card.

While great for a bare-minimum, one would be better served for any gaming spending twice as much on the 8600 GT, such as this one: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=321123

You will get more for your money, even just one of these 8600's versus two of these 8500's in SLI (model and overclocking results will vary).

Friend of mine runs an 8500 and gets 60-80fps in CS:Source (not SLI).

I'd say they're pretty decent chips, not to mention XFX, like BFG, overclocks their cards out of the factory and offers a lifetime warranty (XFX even to a second user)
