Do you know if this will only be valid for "Small Business" websites or are personal websites allowed?

Boo! I just got mine for $4.98 a year.

Maybe I will get another.

Spoofee My Lord,
If you don't recommend this deal, why you posted in your website? And why you don't recommend this deal?

If you are planning on transferring your current domain, we don't recommend this.

Transferring a domain is a different critter alltogether from a new domain.

yahoo

I tried to get the 1.99 and it was not offered..

It says they don't recommend for TRANSFERRING an already registered domain. Which would seem to mean that they do recommend this for new registrations.

I bought a new domain today.. for 5 years! lol Same price as buying one for 1 year. :)

What's wrong with doing a transfer? I just transferred mine in for 5 years at $10. After 60 days, I'll just transfer it back to godaddy. That's a 6-year extension for $17.. not bad!

yeah, i also didnt get that offer.. i would like to put up y small business domain.. but ther one they offer is not coherent witht his post

I was going to do this deal
but called my webmaster first because he hosts my business website
he said that transfering domains that have been registered through yahoo is tricky- even if you just registered it they will charge you like a renewal to transfer it. So to avoid paying for the transfer you have to wait for a year and do it a month before the renewal

just wanted to let you guys know

What's up with so many recycled deals showing up on the Spoofee home page recently?

I took a look at godaddy.com to see what their deals were. It looks like you can get a domain for 1.99 if you get the 8.95 private registration deal. (So your email doesn't get spammed for being in the whois data for the domain.)

Might be a better deal if you want to keep your email address hidden. That offer expires September 30.

it's back
