Buy.com has a decent speaker system for only $24. Check out the reviews from Adrenaline Vault, and the user reviews from CNET.

Just wanted to point out something...

On the Buy.com website, it states that there is a $25 rebate on these speakers. However, if you open up the rebate form and look at the rebate, it states that the rebate is only $20 for the speakers, which makes the final total $28.99 instead of $23.99. I e-mailed Buy.com about this, so we'll see how it goes.

Wow, finally buy.com comes through (I have ordered two other "super" deals from them in the past, and both times they were cancelled because of overwhelming response)!
I wouldn't hesitate to buy them for triple the price after hearing them, they are thumpers!
As for the rebate, I contacted them, and they said to send in the rebate for $25, and check the "yst ms50" box, right under the yst ms50 80 watt speaker.
Besides blazing sound, they have two shared inputs, so you could hook up a pc and a tv/vcr/cd player etc at the same time. Also, the headphone input at the speaker, which is more convenient.

Er, I can't seem to get free shipping on them, I e-mailed them and they said the speakers were 22 lbs, and so the free shipping does not qualify. Which ones are you guys picking up? the Black or Silver ones? Both seem to not give me the free shipping, and the cheapest shipping price is then $20! Anyone else run into something similar?
 
Yeah, problem is now, they won't give free shipping, and shipping costs nearly $20.
