This sound is supposed to be audible only to under-20-year-olds, because their eardrums have less damage. Stores are using this sound in the parking lot at night to keep kids from hanging out after hours!
I found I CAN hear it, and it is TERRIBLE... fingernails on a chalkboard feeling... but i can only hear it in my right ear. i guess not going to rock concerts and not hanging out in loud places has its advantages

let me know if you can hear it. todd couldn't hear it at all, but my kids are cringing cuz i keep playing it!
apparently, kids are using it to their advantage now, though, and downloading it as a ringtone/message alert for their cell phones since the teachers can't hear it!!!
