Having grown up in NY going to the City to Tavern on the Green is one of my favorite memories! We'd go and pickup our grandparents and then go to dine at Tavern on the Green and then go for a horse and buggy ride thru Central Park to the Zoo and walk around the Zoo on a Sunday Afternoon and then take a NYC Taxi back to Tavern on the Green in order to pickup the car! What wonderful memories of family and food! Thanks for this freebie so I can help create memories of some of the best food in the world in my own kitchen for my husband and 2 grown children and their families! Perhaps if we all go back for a reunion in NY we'll go again and have a toast to the family members who are no longer with us but helped create these memories for me that I will cherrish forever!

I have great memories too from my visits when I was a teenager coming from/Wisconsin to visit my sister. unfortunately, the food is no longer what it used to be so I am passing on this.
