Tutz: I did get a box of products, but I can't remember--yes, I think it was Allure/CVS cosmetic bag offer (there should be a thread on it). This bag is different--much bigger. There was a similar Glamour offer last Spring and it turned into a nightmare for many, as there was no limit placed on the Glamour site, and everyone who didn't get one was mad. At least this time they are saying it's the first 1000. The bag looks the same as I recall, but since I did not participate in that one, I don't know what products they sent. Good luck.

i really use this stuff and love it. hope i do get something!!! had to send hubby out first thing in the am to go buy me some on the day that was posted!!!
no worries, they sell beer at "cvs" so he was ok with the ride!!!
 
I didn't hear anything about it. I was also thinking that it should have come by now.
 
So far, I haven't received this yet. I mailed it in immediately on 10/7 so it should be coming soon (allow 6-8 weeks for delivery).
 
I mailed mine on the first day i saw this too...went out and bought the curel and mailed asap...went from cvs to the post office...still nothing! hmmmmmmmmm... might have to followup on this tomorrow as won't have time to today..gotta get ready for work in a little bit.

I have been anxiously awaiting this one ... the last one from CVS was great. I've been thinking of following up on this, but wasn't sure who to contact. Also, is it just me, or have other people noticed that their mailboxes have been pretty empty lately? I don't get nearly as many freebies as I used to. Is it the economy and companies aren't offering as many freebies, or is it the fact that I have 3 kids under the age of 4 and don't have as much time to look for freebies?! :cry::hmmmm::noidea:

I think disorganized companies are to blame. There are a lot of promotions that have "gone wrong" for mysterious reasons.

Looking back at the similar offer, it seems people were calling 1-800-746-7287 (CVS). After the prompt for English, select option 3 for Customer Relations. They should know about this offer. Other people were contacting Glamour, but I never found a phone number posted, and besides, the mags just "host" these things, and it's up to the sponsor to fulfill the offer--in this case, CVS.

Don't feel too bad...those who sent in a receipt on day 1 (including myself) have yet to see anything...and may never see anything. sniffle. :cry:

People did get the bags the last time--the problem was that they hadn't put a limit in the offer and that created a ton of problems. Everyone thought they would get one, when there were only 500. Then they shipped a second 500 count batch. So, some people were upset. On this offer, at least they said first 1,000 upfront.

Yeah, I remember reading about the problems. I'm wondering if the Glamour folks are better than the Allure folks as far as figuring out who the "first" 1000people are. I remember that there was a huge discrepancy in date sent/people who received, which isn't exactly fair. I wonder what size mail bin these people have and how quickly things are actually sorted???
 
I got a chance to call CVS this morning regarding this promotion. I spoke to someone in customer relations, as Pat suggested. This woman told me that she thought that there was a problem with the products being available to be shipped on time. She then connected me with someone in the ExtraCare Card department and I explained the situation. He put me on hold a few times and ended up telling me that he would credit my extra care account $5 for the inconvenience. Since I had my 3 kids in the room(and it is impossible to have a conversation with them in the room), I wasn't able to question him further as to why I didn't receive this, or if I would recieve this. Anyone else feel like calling to see what is going on with this and see if they get a different answer? I was wondering if I should give Glamour a call. I can't understand why I wouldn't receive this if I sent it in on the first day of the promotion.
 
FedEx just delivered this. It's a very nice bag and it has some lotion, gloves, hand sanitizer, and an awesome candle in it. There might be a few other things in it; I can't remember. It's really nice, though.
