here is the offer, no where does it say anything about the membership being free or you have to pay, but they want you to renew annually so i'm guessing its not free but to make sure someone has to ask the sales associate at the store. you can like on the link to see the tote

morning all - i am a charter member of the Swarovski Society.
you pay to be a member...
1 year membership ( $ 55.00 )
3 year membership ( $ 120.00 ) they give you great gifts but the limited edition members pieces cost about $350.00 a piece unless you can find a dealer that will give you a discount... which is against the SCS rules but do-able in the NY metro area. the value of the pieces double in a few years on the resale market. my charter member limited edition piece was worth $6,200.00 at one point...i paid $70 for it
