Chicago Movie for Free

Really enjoyed this movie. Songs were great and clever dialog. Actors were very good, even Renee Zellweger, who isn't my favorite actress, but she did a good job with this part.

I think it's horrendous. Awful music and insipid lyrics, middling performances, soulless direction, flat photography, and sets that didn't upgrade from their stage origins --and so look 'unfinished/without detail' rather than stylized. It's a weak story, told unmemorably. Other than that, it's The Best Picture of the Year.

I think it's a fun movie and I really like it.

Renee Zellweger has always bugged me but I really enjoyed everyone and everything else. Having seen the show the adaptation was terrific.
